Job Description:

Exploits Welding & Machine Shop has been awarded the contract for the Reconstruction of the government wharf located in Torbay, NL. This project is being completed for Public Works and Government Services Canada and commenced in April 2025.

Scope of Work:

• Demolish and remove the existing wharf, including creosote timbers.
• Construct a new treated timber wharf, complete with reinforced concrete deck and concrete spraywall
• Supply and install Mooring Cleats, structural timbers for coping, wheelguard, wheelguard blocking, fenders, ladders and associated Hardware
